Dude, where's my car!!

Yes sir!! You heard it. Going out during Inauguration. Looking to catch a cab at the intersection. Here are 3 reason's why this is a bad idea.

1. Historically, cabbies shy away from Inauguration Day and sometimes the evening festivities too. Why? Because it is so much more work, such a pain to deal with horrendous traffic and road closure. So, what's the big deal? Cause they are regulated and hence make the same $20.00 they could make on any other day. Also a lot of limousine services will try to get a good ones to help driver there limos and buses.

2. Weather is going to be one of the colder Inauguration's. They are calling for 32 for a high and 22 for a low. You really want your dates to be freezing at the corner next to the Convention Center while you try your charm at getting the cab from someone else. DC CABBIES DON"T USE HEAT..usually.

3. The Occasion. Yes, Yes!! Once in 4 years!! This is more special then your birthday if you plan on going out. We are a limousine service and we are higher priced. But this is only to ensure you get the same level of service that you got inside the event. We want to make your u while you go there and more importantly when you are exhausted and done and just want a warm seat to get home.

We will provide transportation for all Inauguration Events and Balls. We will also have a strong presence on Inauguration Day during the ceremony. Our vehicles will be all over the place. I highly encourage advance bookings to guarantee availability and price!! Also the best choice of vehicles and chauffeurs!!!

DC Government website

Check this out. A DC govenment employee gave me a ring and intorudced me to this website.I was shocked that he wanted to help me for the Inauguration Day road blocks and restrictions.

http://www.capitalregionupdates.gov/go/doc/4063/1085979/

check it out coz it seems useful to me: might be useful to you too. Do not forget. We have permits for our sedans and limousines so we have a little more privileges then most of the road blocks.

Inauguration Day and moving around

So as promised I have more updates.

It's about the Inauguration week traffic. We have to get permits (after working with DCTC to have reasonable fees) so we can operate during the Inauguration. Like last time round the roads are going to be jammed and for some reason a lot of the cabbies will not be working. I don't know why.

Blocks around The Mall will be shut down and only permit holders will be able to move further inside the secured blocks. Not all the way but much further. Especially any out of town folks not familiar with DC better be prepared.

Titan Limo will obviously be providing services to all visitors coming for the Inauguration. Check us out at www.titanlimousine.com and go to our specials.

We have all the permits, licenses and vehicles to cater your need. Shiny black cars with clean interiors and warmth. Perfect on a chilly January evening.

We are currently mapping out all the Inauguration Balls so we can provide ticket holders with door to door service. Hopefully the Green Inaugural Ball committee notices us as a concise Eco-Friendly Limo Service in Washington, DC.

100 Reservation completed.

Last month Titan Limousine completed 100 reservations and is proud to say it delivered a 98% on-time service. The 2% that we fell short on was not more then 7 minutes after the due time and it did not harm the customer. Matter of fact the customers were extremely appreciative we communicated with them ahead of time on the status of their vehicle.

Since we are in the transportation business and 100% of our business is on the road of Washington DC it is obvious a delay will happen at some point. At Titan Limousine we believe it is important not to shy away from such situations and "hope" the customer may not notice or may not care. Our policy is simple - communicate with the client to understand their take on the situation.

Human nature. If you are up front with humans. More likely then not they will be with you.

Green Inaugural Ball and Titan Limousine

The Inauguration Day 2009 came and went. Changes happened and statements were made.

Titan Limousine is proud to have partnered with the organizers of the "Green Inaugural Ball" on January 17th, 2009. We were by the organizers requesting Green friendly vehicles to assist in the transportation of key personnel. The key requirement was to maintain the theme of using everything green. It was a tough job for the organizers to find a Green vehicle that can be considered a Luxury vehicle as well.

Our vehicle became the preferred choice for this event as we were able to provide this through a luxury vehicle versus the industries more famous Camry Hybrid. Even though the Toyota Camry Hybrid is a great Green Vehicle, it looses the purpose of space and luxury that the Lincoln Town Car provides by a large distance. This vehicle run on alternative fuel through the vehicles FFV capabilities. Flex Fuel that is!

Our offering is to go Green, but WHY sacrifice on the luxury at the same time. Not to mention the foreign dependency on oil.

The entire event was a success and we were honored to be involved in the right cause.
